Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to join its Data and Analytics (DNA) unit in Bellevue. You will drive end-to-end data solutions across Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse, collaborating with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data pipelines.

You will contribute to requirements, code, reviews, and production support while mentoring teammates and supporting transition to new software applications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, or business intelligence.
• Solid hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Data Warehouse, Python, SQL and T-SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data pipelines, data migration, dimensional modeling, and analytical data processing.
• Experience modernizing legacy ETL applications and moving data workloads to Azure.
• Familiarity with Power BI and enterprise reporting ecosystems.

Responsibilities

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, or business intelligence.
• Strong hands-on experience with:Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Data Warehouse, Python, SQL and T-SQL, Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of enterprise data pipelines, data migration, dimensional modeling, and analytical data processing.
• Experience modernizing legacy ETL applications and moving data workloads to Azure.
• Strong SQL performance-tuning and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience developing production-grade data solutions with automated validation and monitoring.
• Experience working with SQL Server and Teradata environments.
• Familiarity with Power BI and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, code reviews, deployment, and production-support practices.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Python, and SQL.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience supporting large-scale telecom, customer care, retail, or operational analytics platforms.
• Experience developing KPI, incentive, performance-management, or executive-reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise data and business intelligence technologies.
• Experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring data engineering team members.Experience managing data solutions through requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Certification or formal training in Azure, Databricks, data engineering, Scrum, or dimensional data modeling.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
