Azure Data Engineer: Fabric & Lakehouse Pipelines

Job summary

NAC is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric at one of our four offices: Columbus, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Spokane.

You will ingest data from firm systems into a governed lakehouse, tune models and datasets for Power BI reporting, and collaborate with IT leadership and data teams to ensure scalable, reliable data products across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience building data pipelines and cloud data solutions on Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration workflows using Azure services.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes in support of reporting, analytics, and ML.
• Build ingestion patterns from sources such as applications, APIs, databases, and files.
• Implement scheduling, orchestration, automation, and error handling for reliable data loads.
