Job summary

SIMARN Solutions in Jackson, MI is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design and maintain modern data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Power BI.

You will build and optimize pipelines, ensure data quality, implement CI/CD in Azure, and deliver robust analytics dashboards to support business decisions.

Qualifications

Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)

We're hiring an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Power BI.

Key Skills:

• Building and managing ADF Pipelines, Datasets, Linked Services, and Integration Runtimes
• Strong experience with Control Flow activities (ForEach, If, Switch, Until), Data Flows, Copy Activities, Azure Functions, and Notebooks
• SQL development including Stored Procedures, Functions, Dynamic SQL, and SQL Pools
• API integrations and data ingestion
• Spark Pools, Delta Loads, Data Merging, and Databricks Notebooks
• Troubleshooting Python code, library installations, and production support
• Power BI reporting and visualization

Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Engineering technologies
• Expertise in PySpark and Python
• Advanced SQL and Stored Procedure development
• CI/CD deployment experience in Azure environments
