Job summary

Avanade Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks Azure Data Engineering Consultants to deliver analytics and BI solutions. You will design projects, set up data warehouses, and build modern pipelines and APIs to enable decision-making across client engagements.

Role requires up to 80% travel to client sites and living within commuting distance of Arlington. Compensation varies by location and experience; VA range is $159,744–$160,000 per year with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field and 3+ years of Azure data engineering experience.
• Experience delivering data warehousing, publishing and visualization across the full data lifecycle.
• Experience with ETL design, data profiling, and mapping to design data flows.
• End-to-end implementation of analytics solutions on AWS or Azure platforms.
• Experience with real-time processing and streaming tech including Kafka; implement monitoring/alerting.

Responsibilities

• Design and set up projects integrating multiple data sources for analytics.
• Plan and deliver data warehouse architectures and storage solutions.
• Develop modern data pipelines, streams, and APIs for clients.
• Create dashboards, data generators, and information portals.
• Monitor KPIs and optimize operations; implement data services for projects.
