Job summary

Coretek Services seeks a Senior Azure Data & AI Architect to lead enterprise data and AI initiatives on Microsoft Azure. You will drive strategy, design scalable architectures, and mentor teams across client engagements.

Responsibilities include aligning solutions with business goals and ensuring governance, security, and performance. You will work with Azure Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, AI services and modern data platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver transformative tech

Qualifications

7+ years in technical environments with 3+ years in Azure solution architecture and design.
Proven expertise in architecting and implementing Azure data technologies including Fabric, Synapse, Databricks and database systems (SQL, Cosmos DB, Postgres).
Deep knowledge of AI technologies including Azure AI Services, OpenAI, ML Studio, and Cognitive Services.
Strong programming skills in Python for production-grade Data and AI solutions.
Advanced data management concepts: ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lake architecture, real-time streaming.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and IaC (Bicep, Terraform) for CI/CD and automation.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, RBAC and compliance.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level and diverse audiences.
Bachelor’s in CS/Data Science/Engineering; Master’s preferred.
Preferred: event-driven architectures (Event Hub, Service Bus, Kafka); distributed computing and Databricks/Spark optimization; ML Ops; Azure certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data and AI solutions on Azure.
Architect complex Azure environments integrating Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, and AI services.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Oversee data and AI solution integration with enterprise systems, ensuring data quality and security.
Design enterprise data architectures to support AI capabilities and governance.
Partner with project managers to deliver complex engagements on time and within scope.
Engage clients as a trusted technical advisor and conduct executive workshops.
