Altera Digital Health is seeking a seasoned Principal Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Solutions Architecture team and drive the design of comprehensive, enterprise-grade Azure solutions. This client-facing role bridges business needs with technical execution while partnering with development teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep Azure expertise, Databricks experience, and a track record of shaping solution strategy, governance, and secure, scalable cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience with at least 10 years in cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• Proven track record delivering enterprise cloud solutions for clients.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks and modern data architectures (lakehouse).
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking and IAM (RBAC, SSO, MFA, Zero Trust).

Responsibilities

• Define and architect end-to-end cloud solutions with stakeholders and teams.
• Design scalable, secure Azure architectures across domains.
• Lead data and analytics platform architecture including Databricks and lakehouse patterns.
• Develop and enforce cloud networking strategies, private endpoints, and hybrid connectivity.
• Implement IAM frameworks using Azure AD, RBAC, CA and Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural alignment and delivery.
• Drive monitoring, observability, resilience, and DR strategies.
• Establish governance, patterns, and standards across the organization.
