Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including VM management, networking, storage, identity basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve standard infrastructure issues independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; technical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with automation tools and infrastructure as code (PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep).
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies, methodologies, tools, etc.

Responsibilities

**UW Information Technology has an outstanding opportunity for Azure Cloud & Server Support Engineer to join their team.****About this Opportunity** Reporting to a Technology Manager, the Azure Cloud & Server Support Engineer is responsible for the primary operational ownership of day-to-day service delivery on the Windows Managed Server (WMS) team. This Tier 2 role handles routine and moderately complex infrastructure issues, ensuring that customer-facing managed server services remain stable, responsive, and reliable.
