Job summary

Sound Transit in Seattle seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting IT operations and digital initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available Azure environment that aligns with enterprise architecture and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management Information Systems or closely related field.
• Four years of experience in Azure cloud engineering role or closely related field; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
• Implement security, scalability, and performance optimization best practices.
• Automate provisioning and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and high availability of cloud services.
