Job summary

This role focuses on advanced technical and operational support of Azure cloud infrastructure, mentoring partnering teams to ensure high availability, and delivering automated deployments via code and pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience with Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience as an Azure cloud engineer supporting PaaS services and networking
• Azure certification is highly desired
• AKS certification (CKAD) and HCI (Azure Stack) experience preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Develops strategy to execute Azure Cloud Engineering.
• Develops and implements standards and best practices for cloud solutions.
• Leads infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure as code tooling (Terraform, ARM).
• Uses automation to monitor and orchestrate client environments.
• Implements Cloud standards, DevOps/CICD toolchain and SOE.
• Supports business needs by conducting needs assessments and analysis.
• Keeps up with patches and updates to enable new functionality.
• Researches emerging technologies to improve cost and infrastructure flexibility.
• Works with Kubernetes, Docker and other container technologies.
• Deploys all Azure PaaS services (APIM, AKS, AppService, FrontDoor).
