NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to maintain and support Azure cloud compute, networking, and storage infra. You will partner with IT Security, Software Development, and other IT teams on projects to secure delivery and upkeep of business initiatives.

The role involves designing cloud solutions, implementing security, and directing automation and deployment in collaboration with Product Owners and business teams. A strong DevOps background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years related work experience in Azure infrastructure.
• IaC (Infrastructure as Code) – preferably Bicep, ARM Templates (JSON) / CLI, Powershell.
• DevOps pipelines experience (CI/CD).

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day cloud engineering tasks such as provisioning of Azure hub and spoke networks, compute, storage using IaC; administrate identity and access, support third party tool integrations to Azure, build automation, and other cloud engineering tasks at the base infrastructure level.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions with enterprise and domain architects and other IT team members to help design and build modern cloud solutions.
• Responsible for monitoring the health and performance of the Company's cloud and on-prem platforms, applications, and services.
• Implement and maintain proper security levels for Company systems and cloud-based applications according to company security policies.

What will you do?

• Participate in technical architecture discussions with enterprise and domain architects and other IT team members as appropriate to help design and build modern cloud solutions.
• Responsible for monitoring the health and performance of the Company's cloud and on-prem platforms, applications, and services
• Implement and maintain proper security levels for Company systems and cloud-based applications according to company security policies
• Work with Product Owners and other business team members to help empower their digital transformation goals and provide resource deployment orchestration, automation, and configuration expertise.
