Job summary

Bridge Core (BCore) is seeking an Azure Pipeline Deployment Engineer in Herndon, VA to design and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across environments, integrating secure deployment practices and IaC tooling.

You will collaborate with diverse teams to automate builds, deployments, and security checks, while driving continuous improvement and operational stability in a mission‑driven setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining Azure, or other Cloud, DevOps pipelines (YAML and classic).
• Hands-on experience with Azure/Cloudservices, including App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Networking, and Azure Monitor.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment strategies.
• Proficiency withInfrastructure‑as‑Code(ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Experience with Git-based version control and branching strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and configuration issues across cloud environments.
• Familiarity with secure development and compliance frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure/Cloud DevOps CI/CD pipelines supporting deployments across development, test, and production environments.
• Implement automated build, test, and release processes using YAML pipelines, Git repositories, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure deployments using ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate secure coding, automated testing, and quality gates into deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and environment inconsistencies with a focus on root‑cause analysis and long‑term stability.
• Ensure compliance with BAE Systems security, configuration management, and change‑control processes.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable.
• Monitor pipeline performance, implement improvements, and maintain documentation for operational continuity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross‑functional partners.
