Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a skilled Azure-focused cloud engineer to lead migration and modernization projects in Azure. You will implement IaC, manage VMs, App Services, AKS, and storage, and secure environments with RBAC and Entra ID.

You will drive CI/CD pipelines and optimize costs while containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes. The role requires hands-on scripting with PowerShell/Azure CLI, strong networking knowledge, and experience with cost management tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Experience to migrate on-premises to cloud (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming, Re-architecting).
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services.
• Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS.
• Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue).
• Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using: ARM templates / Bicep; Terraform.
• Experience with networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers).
• Identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID).
• Disaster Recovery (Azure Backup, Site Recovery).
• Hands-on scripting (PowerShell / Azure CLI).
• Implement Azure security best practices: Azure AD/Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines using: Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS).
• Use tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Optimize cloud cost using cost management tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and modernize applications from on-premises to Azure environments.
• Build and manage IaC using ARM/Bicep and Terraform.
• Configure and manage Azure resources including VMs, App Services, AKS, and storage.
• Implement RBAC and Entra ID security controls and Key Vault.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale cloud deployments; implement cost controls.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with AKS.
