Job summary

FastTek Global in Michigan is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design, implement and maintain Azure-based solutions, with AWS and Google Cloud experience seen as a plus. You will oversee cloud strategy, adoption plans, architecture patterns, cost management and security, while guiding developers and systems engineers on enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven Cloud Architect experience with Azure and other clouds.
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating Azure deployments.
• Strong understanding of network operations, security, and cloud APIs.
• Hands-on coding skills in Python/Java/.NET preferred.
• Experience with IaC and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable Azure, AWS and Google solutions.
• Identify best practices for Azure architecture and design patterns.
• Conduct system modeling, performance, and capacity analysis.
• Estimate costs and implement cost-control for Azure resources.
• Migrate multi-tier apps to Azure and manage data flow.
• Select appropriate Azure services for data, compute, and security needs.
• Integrate cloud with on-prem networks when needed.
• Stay current on Azure updates and provide architectural guidance.
• Support developers and IT staff with architectural assistance.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Implement security and compliance measures in Azure.
