Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to scale Azure infrastructure, drive AKS and container apps, and establish robust CI/CD standards. The role focuses on architectural decisions, IaC automation, and container orchestration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will design scalable cloud platforms, modernize legacy systems, and mentor engineers in DevOps practices, with the LaVista, NE campus as the in-office hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, or cloud infra roles.
• Hands-on Azure experience with AKS, Container Apps, App Services, VMs and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based solutions including AKS and container apps.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration with scalable strategies.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates and PowerShell.
• Collaborate to architect cloud-native solutions balancing performance, cost, and security.
