Job summary

Ergomed is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and governance of our Microsoft Azure environment. You will create reusable IaC components, optimize costs, and collaborate with DevOps, security, and business teams to ensure compliant cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes architecture review, scalability, disaster recovery, and alignment with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud architecture with hands-on Azure expertise.
• Proven ability to design reusable IaC templates using Bicep, Terraform or ARM.
• Strong background in Azure cost management, budgets, alerts and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture of Azure projects and review designs for repeatable foundations.
• Identify optimization opportunities, migration paths, and cost reduction strategies to cloud.
• Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks and security policies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Define tagging, naming, and subscription-structure standards and ensure adoption across the tenant.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and other regulatory frameworks.
