Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Project - Lead Software Engineer II for its AI & Engineering team. You will implement Azure API Management in hybrid multi-cloud settings, lead discussions on integration architecture, and enable data integration across platforms.

The role requires strong mentoring, independent work, and excellent communication. Travel and security clearances may be required in a government/public sector context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years information technology experience including enterprise integration architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft integration services (Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Functions).
• Ability to travel ~10% depending on client needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Work you'll do

As a Project - Lead Software Engineer II on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of Information Technology experience, including 5+ years in enterprise integration architecture and 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft integration services, including Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Functions

• Experience designing and implementing hybrid and multi-cloud integration architectures

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) and Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred

• Experience with Azure networking and security services supporting application programming interface (API) and integration architectures

• Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for cloud integration solutions

• Experience supporting government or public sector technology environments
