Job summary

Apptad Inc. is seeking an Azure AI/Cloud Engineer to design and deliver GenAI projects in Bellevue, WA. You will implement GenAI apps using Azure OpenAI, Copilot, RAG pipelines and robust grounding with citations while building scalable backend services.

You will work across backend teams to implement RESTful APIs, microservices, container deployments, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong focus on security, telemtry, observability, and production readiness is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications on Azure OpenAI Copilot and RAG architectures.
• Backend development with .NET/C# or Python; REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on Azure with App Services, AI Search, Managed Identity and Key Vault.
• Experience with telemetry, monitoring and production readiness.

• Azure AI Generative AI Experience building GenAI applications using Azure OpenAI Copilot RAG architectures prompt engineering evaluation frameworks and grounding citation mechanisms
• Backend Development Strong experience in CNET or Python REST APIs microservices Azure Functions Container Apps Logic Apps and scalable service development
• Azure Cloud Engineering Handson experience with Azure App Services Azure AI Search Managed Identity Key Vault Storage Accounts APIM Monitoring and Container based deployments Multiple workstreams focus on content ingestion MCP integration telemetry
• AI Search RAG Implementation Experience with document ingestion indexing chunking retrieval optimization embeddings citations and search quality validation Project heavily relies on content ingestion and retrieval grounded responses
