Job summary

ALIS Software LLC is seeking an AI Platform Administrator to govern and scale enterprise AI platforms across Azure environments. The role focuses on production-ready AI operations with Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and AI Gateway, aligned with security, reliability, and cost standards.

You will manage Databricks workloads, implement APIM-based gateways, and oversee compute, storage, and networking while ensuring observability, incident response, and governance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (required).
• 5–12+ years in cloud/platform engineering with 2–5+ years in AI/ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, and ML workloads.
• Implement and Manage APIM-based AI Gateway configurations.
• Provision and manage compute, storage, and networking.
• Monitor AI workloads, logs, and platform health.
• Implement observability using Azure Monitor and KQL.
• Support incident management and RCA processes.
• Enforce data security, content safety, and compliance.
• Manage Key Vault, secrets, and private endpoints.
• Optimize AI model usage and compute costs.

• The AI Platform Administrator is responsible for managing, governing, and scaling enterprise AI platforms across Azure environments.
• This role ensures production-ready AI operations including Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and AI Gateway, aligned with enterprise security, reliability, and cost optimization standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

• 5–12+ years in cloud/platform engineering with 2–5+ years in AI/ML platforms.

Key Responsibilities

AI Platform Administration

• Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, and ML workloads

AI Operations (AIOps) & Monitoring

• Monitor AI workloads, logs, and platform health
