Qualifications

• Must have valid, current state licensure as an SLP.
• ASHA certification preferred (CCC).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech and language therapy to a predominantly Native American population.
• Plan and administer medically based speech therapy for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Assess and interpret evaluations and document findings in the EHR.
• Determine speech therapy treatment plans with physician input.
• Modify therapy plans based on patient progress and needs.
• Document results of assessments, treatment, and termination of services.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in home programs to carry over goals.
