Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York, NY seeks a Senior Engineer to focus on Axiom reporting and JIRA-driven test engineering. You will develop test cases, verify report schedules, and review MDRM data for quality and completeness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with Axiom (Addenza) and JIRA.
• Experience with regulatory reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases and documentation for the report/schedule under review.
• Review report schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform data quality checks on MDRM data and identify gaps.
• Test system functionality including drill-through, report generation and data loading.
• Ensure historical report versioning and accessibility.
• Participate in workflow testing and issue escalation while coordinating with teams.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Skill sets needed:

• In-depth experience with Axiom (Addenza) system.
• Experience with JIRA (raising new, updating and closing).
• Test scripts / test case development up updating.
• Product knowledge and applicability of products to Reg reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work will focus on several areas including:
• Test case development and documentation specific to the report/schedule being reviewed.
• Report schedule development review for accuracy and completeness.
• Line level (MDRM) data review to ensure completeness, identifying gaps and or data quality issues.
• System functionality testing (drill through capabilities, report generation and data loading abilities, etc.)
• Historical report versioning and accessibility checks.
• Workflow process review and testing.
• Version saving and locking functionality
  • Submission capabilities review
  • Maker / checker review
  • Cross checks and inter series validation
  • Issue escalation and participation in working groups aimed to remediate and close
  • Results reporting.
