Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Risk Specialist within the RMX team to monitor and report on AWS third-party risks across the ecosystem. You will coordinate with legal, compliance, supply chain, and external vendors to identify, measure, and mitigate risks in a fast-moving cloud environment.

You will manage Sentinel-driven risk surveillance, create executive-level risk intelligence, and support regulatory audits while seeking automation and runbook improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3+ years of compliance program management, governance, or risk-related experience.
Demonstrated understanding of ERM and/or TPRM frameworks.

Responsibilities

Monitor third-party risk alerts and elevate issues as they arise.
Own the monthly risk report from draft through executive distribution.
Produce on-demand risk profiles for internal stakeholders using financial intelligence tools.
Lead financial viability assessments for critical vendors and coordinate with engineering to automate data collection.
Serve as the team contact for regulatory and customer audits and document third-party incidents with security operations.
Drive vendor reassessments and contribute to launch reviews for new AWS services.
