Business Needs Inc in Houston is seeking an experienced AWS Tech Lead to design, implement and manage cloud-based solutions. The role is hybrid onsite (4 days/week) for an initial 6-month contract.

You will lead cloud architecture, develop cloud-native apps using Java, Node.js, and Python, mentor teams, optimize performance, and enforce security best practices while collaborating with cross-functional groups and driving automation with Terraform or Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience with cloud computing and software development.
• Proficient in AWS services and programming languages (Java, Node.js, Python).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS certifications are highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in cloud computing and software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture Design: Develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
• Application Development: Lead the development of cloud-native applications using Java, Node.js, and Python.
• Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
