Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer for a remote position. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, data services management, and security/compliance across the data warehouse stack.

Role: AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote

Mandatory Skills:

AWS Infra Admin (EC2 VM’s, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, S3, Backup & Restroe), AWS Data Services management like AWS RedShift Administration Infra level, AWS Glue, AWS Data Services, S3, AWS CDK

Manage AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Warehouse platform like: AWS Redshift environments, AWS S3, Security components.

Perform AWS Redshift administration activities like: User management, Performance tuning, Capacity monitoring, Backup validation, Security administration

Support production and non-production environments.

• Monitoring & Incident Management (on call support)
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance.
• Respond to alerts and service disruptions.
• Coordinate with application & infrastructureteams during major incidents.
• Support environment provisioning and configuration management.
• Monitor AWS consumption and utilization.

Security & Compliance

• Manage IAM roles, policies, security groups, and network controls.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and organizational policies.

Support audit and compliance requirements.

Compensation

We are offering between $115,000 – $129,000. Applications will be accepted until Sep 25, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
