Job summary

Incedo Inc. is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect with data architecture and engineering expertise to design enterprise‑scale data platforms on AWS for banking and financial services clients in Minneapolis.

Lead workshops and architecture reviews, translate business challenges into scalable data solutions, and guide data engineers and analytics teams to ensure secure, well‑architected cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• ETL/ELT frameworks and large‑scale data pipelines.
• Real‑time streaming technologies: Kafka and/or Kinesis.
• Modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Data modeling, governance, quality, and integration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, solution discussions, and architecture reviews with stakeholders.
• Translate business challenges into scalable data solutions for risk, fraud, analytics, and reporting.
• Drive alignment across business, data, and engineering teams.
• Architect and lead implementation of enterprise data platforms on AWS.
• Build data lakes/lakehouse architectures, pipelines, and analytics ecosystems.
• Define data models, governance frameworks, and architecture blueprints.
• Design secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures with well‑architected principles.
• Lead cloud migration and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Balance scalability, performance, cost, and security in designs.
• Enable real‑time analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision making.
• Guide data engineers, cloud engineers, and analysts.
• Promote best practices across data engineering, DevOps, automation, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure delivery excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead discovery workshops, solution discussions, and architecture reviews with business and technology stakeholders.

• Drive alignment across business, data, and engineering teams.
• Architect and lead implementation of enterprise data platforms on AWS.
• Build data lakes/lakehouse architectures, batch and real‑time pipelines, and analytics ecosystems.
• Define data models, governance frameworks, and architecture blueprints.
• Design secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud architectures using AWS services including:
• Lambda, ECS/EKS, Step Functions
• API Gateway, EventBridge, Kinesis
• Ensure adherence to AWS Well‑Architected principles and banking compliance requirements.
• Lead cloud migration and legacy modernization initiatives.
• Design solutions balancing scalability, performance, cost, and security.
• Enable real‑time analytics, reporting, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Guide data engineers, cloud engineers, and analysts.
• Promote best practices across data engineering, DevOps, automation, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure delivery excellence.

What We’re Looking For

Strong hands‑on expertise in:

• ETL/ELT frameworks and large‑scale data pipelines
• Real‑time streaming technologies: Kafka and/or Kinesis
• Modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake

Proven experience in:

• Data modeling, governance, quality, and integration frameworks
• Batch and real‑time processing architectures
• Client‑facing consulting and solution leadership

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills

Banking & Financial Services experience preferred:

• Risk, Fraud, Payments, Regulatory Reporting
• Data security, compliance, and governance requirements
