Location: Remote – Poland
Contract Type: B2B Contract
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to design, build, and configure a secure AWS Proof of Value (PoV) environment for MongoDB change data capture (CDC), event streaming, financial ledger processing, audit storage, and infrastructure automation.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS architecture, database migration, event-driven services, security, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and controlled network access.
- Implement AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) for MongoDB full-load and ongoing CDC replication.
- Configure Amazon Kinesis Data Streams and Firehose for event streaming and immutable event storage in Amazon S3.
- Implement Amazon S3 Object Lock, retention policies, and replay-ready event storage.
- Design PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS for financial ledger processing and Amazon DynamoDB for audit storage using a single-table design.
- Implement AWS security using IAM, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS KMS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and VPC Flow Logs.
- Configure AWS Site-to-Site VPN and secure connectivity to private network environments.
- Build automated monitoring and source-impact protection using Lambda, CloudWatch, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
- Develop containerised Python reconciliation and replay workloads using Amazon ECS Fargate.
- Implement cross-tenant isolation and audit evidence using IAM policies, DynamoDB LeadingKeys conditions, CloudTrail, and PostgreSQL pgAudit.
- Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning using Terraform 1.5+ and GitHub Actions with OIDC authentication and controlled deployment workflows.
- Build Athena and AWS Glue reporting over CloudTrail logs and partitioned Parquet data in Amazon S3.
- Conduct JMeter load testing, monitor replication lag, validate event integrity, and produce reconciliation and operational evidence reports.
- Manage infrastructure costs, AWS resource teardown, and evidence of secure resource destruction.
