Delaney & Bourton is seeking an AWS Software Engineer to join its Integrations team. The role focuses on TypeScript, serverless architectures and AWS CDK to build scalable cloud platforms that benefit engineering teams across the tech function.
You will influence coding standards, governance and developer experience while delivering reusable tools, SDKs and cloud services in a fully remote, permanent position.
This isn't just another AWS development role. It's an opportunity to shape the way engineering teams build, deploy and scale cloud applications, creating the shared platforms, tooling and services that make a real difference across an entire technology function.
I'm working with a technology-led business looking for an AWS Software Engineer to join its Integrations team, working at the heart of a serverless-first cloud environment.
You'll combine hands-on engineering with technical influence, helping teams raise the bar on coding standards, governance and developer experience.
This is an AWS-first, serverless-oriented environment, with technologies including:
Experience across every service isn't essential, but you'll need strong TypeScript skills, hands-on AWS CDK and SDK experience, and a solid understanding of building robust, maintainable cloud solutions.
React/Vue, SQL, DynamoDB single-table design and authentication services would all be useful additions.
Someone who enjoys solving engineering problems beyond their own codebase.
You’ll be comfortable collaborating across teams, sharing knowledge, mentoring other developers and influencing how software is built, rather than simply picking up tickets and delivering to a specification.
If you enjoy building reusable tools, improving developer experience and working with modern AWS technologies, this could be a particularly interesting next move.
