Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Security Engineer I to perform adversarial testing of AWS production services and validate fixes in a scalable, customer-focused environment. You will work with GenAI-based tooling, extend automation, and contribute to runbooks and security practices across services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl) and security fundamentals.
• Ability to explain security risk for simple problems in writing and speaking.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, CTFs, bug bounties, or security research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform adversarial testing of AWS production services using established methodologies.
• Build on GenAI security outputs to demonstrate exploitable findings.
• Audit in-house web services and software for defined risk areas.
• Write proof-of-concept code showing reproducible impact and guide fixes.
