Job summary

ATS+Partners is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer I focused on AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity in Albany, NY. You will lead multi-discipline tech orchestration and liaise with business leaders to optimize systems.

Responsibilities include 24x7 on-call support, cloud networking design across AWS/Azure/GCP for NYS agency deployments, and IaC development with Terraform. You will work with network appliances and CSP integrations and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Expert AWS networking: VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables, TGW, Direct Connect, etc.
Advanced experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid AWS connectivity.
Proficiency in layer 3 routing (BGP, VRFs, NAT, etc.).
PAN-OS expertise: policies, NAT, zones, tunnels, logging.

Responsibilities

Provide 24x7x365 on-call network support for advanced troubleshooting and ticket resolutions.
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud networking infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and GCP for NYS agency deployments.
Design and maintain network appliances (Arista CloudEOS, Palo Alto PAN-OS) and integrate with CSP networks.
Develop on-prem to cloud connectivity solutions with ISO and architecture teams.
Assist with IaC and Terraform to standardize cloud configuration and backup solutions.
Monitor network performance using tools like Zenoss, Splunk, and Wireshark; analyze and report.
Oversee Change Control, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maximize availability.
Document designs in Visio and share knowledge with junior staff.
