Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Network Install Technician for Infrastructure Delivery in multiple locations including Sparks, NV. You will install and rack large enterprise equipment, run fiber and copper cabling, and ensure safety and security standards throughout the installation process.

Travel within the regional work area is required, with after-hours support as needed. This role offers hands-on hardware installation in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project management.
• Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
• Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material-handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
