Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to innovate and deliver AI/ML solutions. You will develop, integrate, deliver, and support ML solutions as part of the ML team, collaborating across teams and maintaining production-grade code.

Responsibilities include building scalable ML pipelines, leveraging AWS, and ensuring high-quality software practices. A strong math/CS background and 1+ years in ML development are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related STEM field, or Bachelors with MS/PhD in STEM.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years’ experience with an object-oriented language (Java or Python) and ML/AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Implement ML-based solutions addressing business challenges with AWS integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and shape project architecture with cloud considerations.
• Architect and implement scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure using AWS and DevOps practices.
• Build enterprise applications at scale with CS fundamentals.
• Use metrics to drive data-informed decisions.
• Diagnose and fix production issues and write production-quality code.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
