Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced engineer to own end-to-end migration orchestration from OBSv2 to AWS S3, building scalable AWS workflows using Lambda, Step Functions, Fargate, and Batch. You will manage billing, permissions, and production cutover across multiple accounts, ensuring secure, observable operations.

The role requires deep Python development, DynamoDB modeling, and strong knowledge of IAM, S3, and networking.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, SSM Parameter Store, Secrets Manager.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end migration workflow from OBSv2 to AWS S3 indices and data pipelines.
• Build and operate AWS-based orchestration using Step Functions, Lambda, ECS Fargate, AWS Batch, DynamoDB, SQS, and rclone.
• Support manifest-based and dynamic migrations with batching, sharding, and retry handling.
• Implement governance for bandwidth, queue management, throttling, and job tracking.
• Develop observability with CloudWatch dashboards, logs, metrics, alarms, and runbooks.
• Enable secure multi-account deployment, IAM controls, and production cutover.
