Job summary

MACHINE INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable AWS-based solutions in our New Jersey operations. You will lead migration and modernization efforts, define landing zones, and drive security and governance across multiple accounts.

Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to build microservices and event-driven architectures, and establish robust CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing AWS cloud architectures.
• Experience leading migrations and modernization projects.
• Strong IAM, security and governance knowledge.
• Ability to define blueprints and reference models for onboarding apps.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging AWS services (compute, storage, networking, and serverless).
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects — from assessment to deployment.
• Define architecture blueprints, landing zones, and reference models for application onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with security, IAM, and governance standards across AWS accounts and workloads.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency using best practices.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to design microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Establish and enforce CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards (Terraform / CloudFormation).

• EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, Opensearch, Kafka and Secrets Manager.

• High-availability and disaster recovery (multi-AZ / multi-region)

• CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate)
• Monitoring & logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch

Security & Governance

• IAM design, policies, and role-based access control
• AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Security Hub
• Compliance (ISO, SOC2, GDPR) awareness
