VSO Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) SME to help build secure AWS foundations that scale for a mission-critical, security-sensitive program.

You will guide the transition from manual deployments to automated, governed infrastructure and work with trusted partners to deliver measurable results. You will lead design and implementation of Landing Zone patterns, ensure governance via AWS Organizations and Control Tower, and develop repeatable deployment processes for

Qualifications

• 5 years in AWS cloud infrastructure or migration engineering.
• Hands-on AWS Landing Zone Accelerator.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and infrastructure-as-code governance.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience and ability to work effectively in highly controlled environments.

Are you ready to put your AWS expertise to work on cloud challenges that few engineers get the chance to tackle?

Virtual Service Operations (VSO) is seeking an experienced AWS Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) SME to join a highly skilled team delivering advanced cloud engineering capabilities for a mission-critical, security-sensitive initiative. Take a leading role in building secure AWS foundations that scale. You will guide the transition from manually configured cloud environments to consistent, automated, governed infrastructure, including deployments with demanding operational constraints. You will work with experienced technical partners in a collaborative environment where careful engineering and measurable results matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS Landing Zone Accelerator and multi-account governance patterns.
• Align development, test, and production configurations through infrastructure as code.
• Design and validate blue/green deployments and controlled rollback procedures.
• Develop repeatable deployment and migration processes for restricted AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years in AWS cloud infrastructure or migration engineering.
• Direct hands‑on experience implementing AWS Landing Zone Accelerator.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and infrastructure‑as‑code governance.
• Hands‑on AWS cloud experience and ability to work effectively in highly controlled environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating across AWS commercial, GovCloud, or other restricted partitions.
• Experience designing resilient migration and cutover patterns.
• Relevant AWS professional or specialty certifications; Security or CISSP where applicable.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance; must be eligible for applicable SCI read‑on/indoctrination and additional program‑specific access approvals.
• Must reside within commuting distance of one of the following 4 approved secure work locations: Herndon, VA; Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; or Denver, CO.
• Regular on‑site work in an approved secure facility and occasional work at authorized customer facilities may be required. This is not a remote position.
• Full‑time position, on‑site
