Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in New York, NY seeks an experienced AWS/DevOps engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure. You will manage EC2, VPC, IAM, Route 53, S3, and EBS, build container platforms with EKS/ECS, and drive automation.

Candidates should have strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), monitoring (CloudWatch), and ITSM processes. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS infrastructure and cloud engineering experience.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux) and Windows Server administration.
• Automation and IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficient scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Solid CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Diligent in monitoring, incident response, and RCA.
• Experience with ITSM processes and change management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Own configuration, automation, and deployments using IaC.
• Manage container platforms (EKS/ECS) and associated observability.
• Lead backup, DR, HA strategies and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure security, access management, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate on incident response, RCA, and problem resolution.
