Our client is seeking an AWS / IAM Engineer for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

Job Details:

• Worked on IAM technologies, processes, and cloud capabilities
• Expertise in scripting, coding pipelines, and automation
• Experience in cloud governance, audit, controls, and compliance
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, detection, and threat intelligence tools
• Effective communication with technical, product, and business teams
• Ability to develop and implement Cloud IAM solutions
• Experience working in matrix teams and managing deliverables

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver Cloud IAM solutions and manage operations across multiple ARTs
• Coordinate between Cloud IAM Engineering, BAU, and ARTs to meet requirements
• Act as a Cloud IAM SME within a hub-spoke model for each ART
• Participate in PI planning and understand project dependencies on AWS and IAM
• Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with risk and assurance teams
• Manage role creation/modification requests and ensure security and compliance
• Handle operational tasks, incident management, and backlog prioritization
• Support troubleshooting and adhere to security standards
• Maintain architectural documentation and provide sprint updates

Skills & Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 2 years in AWS IAM/Security engineering
• At least 4 years developing automation with Python
• Experience with IAM policies, roles, and access management
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of AWS services related to identity and access management
