Job summary

Sira Consulting is seeking a hands-on AWS GenAI Architect to translate ambiguous business problems into production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows. The role requires direct work with customer teams across Mountain View, CA and Manhattan, NY, with travel to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building Agentic AI / AI Agents (production-ready).
• Strong experience with agent/workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Building autonomous, multi-step agent workflows.
• Tool/API integration and tool contract design including IO handling.
• Strong RAG / retrieval engineering for context injection.
• Experience implementing observability, security, reliability, and guardrails for production AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying GenAI/agentic workflows.
• Ability to conduct discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

Travel: Candidate should be able to travel to Mountain View, CA, Manhattan, NY, customer locations as required.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on AWS GenAI Architect to work directly with customer business and technical teams to convert ambiguous business problems into production-ready AI agents and agentic workflows.

This is a hands-on builder role involving discovery, solution design, development, deployment, testing, and continuous refinement. Candidates who have primarily worked in advisory, high-level architecture, or program management without hands-on development will not be a fit.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience building Agentic AI / AI Agents
• Strong experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agent/workflow orchestration frameworks
• Building autonomous, multi-step agent workflows
• Tool/API integration and tool contract design, including input/output handling and failure scenarios
• Strong RAG / retrieval engineering experience for accurate context injection
• Experience implementing observability, security, reliability, and guardrails for production AI solutions

2. AI Workflow Design & Delivery

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying GenAI/agentic workflows
• Ability to conduct discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders
• Current-state process mapping and identification of AI/automation opportunities
• Agent testing, troubleshooting, evaluation, and iterative refinement based on requirements and user feedback
