Qualifications

• Migration experience moving on‑premises environments to AWS with reasoning for choices.
• Modernization efforts including re-platforming or re-architecting in the cloud.
• Deep AWS services knowledge with focus on VPC/subnet design and networking fit.
• Security‑first approach across designs, especially in regulated environments.
• Experience with DevOps practices and Site Reliability Engineering.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS experience.
• CI/CD pipeline management, Jenkins preferred.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation; scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell.
• Hands-on cloud security controls implementation in AWS.
• AWS certification at Associate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate an enterprise-class AWS cloud environment.
• Lead development and automation of cloud services.
• Architect and optimize workloads for resilience, security, performance and cost.
• Plan migration of on‑prem workloads to AWS with best-fit approach.
• Re-platform and modernize during migration, upgrading OS and re-architecting as needed.
• Serve as a key resource for Cloud Center of Excellence with engineering excellence.
• Support SRE and DevOps with architecture guidance, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Embed security into all designs from VPC to deployment pipelines.
