Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a skilled DevOps professional to join our New York team to automate deployments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and monitor AWS environments. The role requires hands-on AWS experience, Docker/Microservices familiarity, and strong scripting skills in Python and Terraform.

You will work within an agile team, align deployments across DEV/QA/PROD, and ensure automated QA gates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree.
• +3 years of hands-on experience supporting application build and deployment in an AWS Cloud environment.
• Experience with core DevOps practices: Configuration Management, CI, IaC, CD, Monitoring.
• Experience with DevOps integration with automated testing and deployment verification.
• Scripting languages and databases: Python, Terraform, MongoDB, Redis.
• Knowledge of AWS services: EC2, ECS, ELB/ALB, Security Groups, Route53, IAM, KMS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Lambda, SES, SNS, SQS.
• Familiar with branching strategies, pull requests, Git commands, Bash.
• Knowledge/experience of Microservices, Docker container implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal).

• Implement process tracking and monitoring application performance in AWS cloud environment;
• DEV, QA and PROD automated deployment pipelines to match industry standards;
• Continuously monitor and record configuration changes of AWS resources;

Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. Candidates need to be able to work 6 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. Example 9AM NY time equals 7:30PM. Important: successful candidates need to be available as soon as possible.

Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +3 years of hands-on experience supporting application build and deployment in a AWS Cloud environment;
• Experience and deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring);
• Experience and deep understanding of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification;
• Experience and expertise in any of scripting languages and databases: Python, Terraform and MongoDB, Redis;
• Knowledge/experience with AWS services – EC2, ECS, ELB/ALB, Security Groups, Route53, IAM, KMS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Lambda, SES, SNS, SQS;
• Familiar with various Branching strategies, pull request concept and GIT commands and Bash;
• Knowledge/experience of Microservices architecture, Docker container implementation;
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required;
