Job summary

Stefanini Group in San Francisco, CA is hiring an AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation for a SaaS Identity Governance and Administration platform.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible, and ensure production reliability while collaborating with engineering, security, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science preferred.
• 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience, plus 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Expert-level experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workflows.
• Experience building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automation.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)
• Deploy, configure, and support scalable environments across development, testing, staging, and production
• Build and maintain infrastructure for integrating multiple platforms and services via APIs
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and operational workflows
• Design and implement observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for platform health and performance
• Provide test execution infrastructure and integrate test automation into deployment pipelines
• Integrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with engineering and security teams to build reliable deployment infrastructure

• Excellent troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues

Priority Skills:

• Experience with SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale
• Experience integrating multiple third-party platforms and services
• Experience with API testing and integration patterns
• Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance requirements

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms (SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, etc.)
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing
• Certifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Professional, CKA, Terraform Associate
