Job summary

Excyl, Inc. is seeking a cloud development professional with strong AWS experience to join our Troy, Michigan area team. The role requires a deep understanding of AWS native services and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Qualifications include 6+ years in Cloud Development (AWS), 6+ years in Java J2EE, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Maven and Spring, plus Python, shell scripting and UNIX. Experience with AWS Lambda, S3 and Kinesis is essential.

• Proficient with Maven, Spring and JavaScript in CI/CD environments.

• Experience delivering AWS implementations and cloud integration.
• Familiar with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AWS native services such as Lambda, S3 and Kinesis.

Job description

In this role, you will require having a good understanding of AWS services and strong experience working with AWS native services, that adheres to enterprise standards. Candidate must be able to work independently with a minimum direction.

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Development, with particular AWS experience
• 6+ years of development experience in Java J2EE
• Proven experience implementing Web Applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with Maven, Spring, and JavaScript
• Experience working with Java coding in combination with AWS native services
• Experience working with Python, Shell Scripting & UNIX
• Experience working AWS implementations and integrating with cloud services
• Experience with DEV OPS implementation tools and Agile methodology
• Experience working with AWS native services
• Experience with AWS Cloud (LAMBDA, S3, Kinesis Stream)
