Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Developer to support a high-visibility enterprise initiative in Lansing, MI. This onsite role is a 6+ month contract focused on Generative AI and LLM-based workflows.

You will design AI applications using LLMs, agentic frameworks, and AWS Bedrock, while building REST APIs with FastAPI and orchestrating LLMs across Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, and OpenSearch. Relocation candidates welcome.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AI Agents and agentic AI frameworks.
• Advanced Python development experience.
• Proven experience with LLM orchestration and RAG architectures.
• Experience with LLM evaluation techniques/frameworks.
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI.
• Strong AWS experience including CloudFormation, API Gateway, Fargate, Lambda, and OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs and AI agents.

• Develop Python services for LLM orchestration and AI workflows.
• Implement prompt engineering and structured LLM outputs.
• Build and deploy REST APIs using FastAPI and integrate AWS services.
• Develop AWS-based solutions with Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, OpenSearch, and CloudFormation.
• Develop Q&A / conversational AI solutions using AWS Bedrock.
• Support Amazon Connect configuration, contact flows and administration.

We’re seeking an experienced AWS Developer to support a high-visibility enterprise initiative. This is a 6+ month contract with onsite work in Lansing, MI (relocation candidates welcome).

What you’ll do

• Design and develop Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and agentic frameworks
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise use cases
• Develop Python services for LLM orchestration and AI workflows
• Implement prompt engineering strategies and structured LLM outputs
• Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI
• Build and deploy scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, OpenSearch, and CloudFormation
• Develop Q&A / conversational AI solutions using AWS Bedrock
