Job summary

Zyntek seeks an experienced Databricks Platform Administrator to lead governance and optimization of enterprise Databricks on AWS. You will architect, deploy, and secure Databricks environments, manage workspaces, clusters, jobs, and Unity Catalog, and provide incident support.

Collaboration with Data Engineering, Cloud, and Security teams is essential to drive platform enhancements. The role emphasizes reliability, cost optimization, and IAM governance to ensure compliant, scalable data

Qualifications

10 years in IT with at least 4 years in Databricks administration.
Hands-on with AWS cloud platforms and enterprise production support.
Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Architect and support AWS Databricks environments across Dev QA UAT Prod.
Manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, Unity Catalog and access controls.
Provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Implement governance, security IAM, RBAC, monitoring and compliance controls.
Automate deployments using Terraform, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Cloud and Security teams on platform enhancements.
