Job summary

GSPANN Technologies, Inc is seeking a seasoned software/data engineering expert to coordinate onsite and offshore delivery.

You will design and implement data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL and DBT, leveraging AWS Redshift and AWS Glue in a hybrid work setting. A deep understanding of data modeling, architecture, and scalable systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating work between onsite and offshore teams is mandatory.
• 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, ML, or related field.
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Write robust, maintainable code in Python/Pyspark, SQL and DBT.
• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular AWS, Redshift & AWS Glue.
• Desirable: Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform; Databricks preferred.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Experience in coordinating work between onsite and offshore teams is mandatory
• 10 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or related field
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python/Pyspark, SQL and DBT
• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular AWS, Redshift & AWS Glue
• Experience with technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Databricks would be strongly preferred.
• Experience with agile development and test driven development
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)
