Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in AWS data services to design and implement scalable data pipelines. You will work with S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and related tools to process large data volumes, perform cleansing and validation, and ensure reliable data delivery.

Strong Python and SQL skills are essential for ETL development and ongoing pipeline maintenance. The role supports remote work with a preferred location in Atlanta, GA, and collaboration

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with AWS services.
• Strong SQL knowledge and Python development.
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines in the cloud (AWS preferred).
• Ability to handle large data volumes and perform cleansing/validation.
• Hands-on ETL development using Python and SQL with AWS services.
• Experience CI/CD deployment and scheduling with Airflow or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Job description

Must Have

• AWS Data service experience (S3, GLUE, Lambda, Redshift, KMS etc.), Strong SQL knowledge and Aws CDK knowledge.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineer with AWS services like Simple Storage Service(S3), Lambda, Glue ETL, Redshift, SQL, Python, Git.
• Must have working knowledge in designing and implementing data pipelines on any of the cloud providers (AWS is preferred).
• Must be able to work with large volumes of data coming from various sources. Perform data cleansing, data validation etc
• Hands on ETL developer who is good at python, SQL. AWS services like glue, glue crawlers, lambda, red shift, athena, s3, EC2, IAM, Monitoring and Logging mechanisms- AWS cloudwatch, setting up alerts.
• Deployment knowledge on cloud. Integrate CI/CD pipeline to build artifacts and deploy changed to higher Environments.
• Scheduling frame works Airflow, AWS Step functions
• Excellent Communication skills, should be able to work collaboratively with other teams
