Job summary

3B Staffing LLC is seeking an AWS Security Engineer to join our Irvine, CA team. The role focuses on designing and implementing secure configurations for AWS services, deploying CSPM tools, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in cloud security with hands-on AWS experience, familiarity with CSPM platforms, and scripting skills for automation. Certifications are a plus and multi-cloud knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail).
• Hands-on experience with CSPM platforms and cloud compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Terraform) for automation and remediation.
• Familiarity with container security (EKS, ECS) and serverless security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure configurations for AWS services (e.g., IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda).
• Deploy and manage CSPM tools to monitor and remediate misconfigurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and automation scripts.
• Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, compliance drift, and anomalous activity.
