Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an AWS Specialist to support Cloud Security Assurance, ensuring secure configuration and governance of enterprise cloud environments. You will build and operationalize CSPM detection logic, track posture across infrastructure and services, and work with engineering teams to remediate findings.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of CSPM experience, hands-on AWS knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills to enable risk-informed decisions and audit readiness

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CSPM and secure cloud configuration experience.
• Experience identifying cloud misconfigurations and control weaknesses.
• In-depth experience with AWS core services (compute, network, storage, identity).
• Ability to assess risk and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cloud environments are securely configured and governed per CSA standards.
• Maintain continuous visibility into cloud configuration and security posture across in-scope platforms.
• Identify misconfigurations, policy violations, and control gaps across infrastructure and platform services.
• Build, maintain, and refine CSPM detections aligned to security baselines and guidelines.
• Support onboarding, tuning, and operationalization of CSPM tooling and posture reporting.
• Partner with cloud platform and engineering teams to remediate CSPM findings.
• Triage posture findings, assess risk and blast radius, and support remediation prioritization.
• Provide CSPM posture metrics and risk reporting to CSA leadership.
• Contribute to cloud security standards, baseline docs, and audit readiness.
