Detailed job description:

• We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Migration Architect / Pod Lead to provide technical leadership for migrating enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS Outposts.
• The role is responsible for defining migration strategies, designing target architectures, leading infrastructure and application modernization efforts, and driving end-to-end technical execution for migration pods.
• Should have strong expertise in AWS, hybrid cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, networking, automation, and enterprise migration programs, along with hands-on experience in application and code modernization including Java 8 to Java 17/21 upgrades, Spring Boot modernization, dependency remediation, CI/CD integration, and cloud readiness improvements.
• The role requires close collaboration with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and low-risk migrations while maintaining architecture and operational standards.
• Develops and deploys cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components, and persisting data in NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Utilizes expertise in multiple layers of application development, including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases.
• Applies DevOps methodologies and tools to ensure efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications.
• Works with senior level practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools.
