Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to support documentation for engineering, security, and operational processes at a large federal agency. The role requires solid AWS experience and a strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS fundamentals.

You will design scalable cloud solutions, document procedures, perform analyses, and help transition systems to operations while maintaining security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of IT experience supporting federal agencies.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-ready cloud solutions.
• Hands-on AWS experience with architectural design.
• Familiar with lift-and-shift migrations and cloud migration strategies.
