Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage Kubernetes clusters and implement automation solutions on AWS. Responsibilities include configuring EKS, developing infrastructure as code using Terraform, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of AWS services and container orchestration tools. Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Certified Kubernetes Administrator.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Solid knowledge of Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
• Implement observability solutions using CloudWatch and Prometheus.
• Troubleshoot cluster performance issues and optimize resource utilization.
• Work closely with DevOps, development, and security teams.
