Job summary

Artifintech is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable AWS infrastructure. You will lead IaC deployments with Terraform and CloudFormation, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes strong automation, security, and observability practices, collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of AWS security services, IAM and security controls.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
• Implement release automation and deployment strategies.
• Manage containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for deployment and scaling.
• Create automation scripts in Python and Bash for cloud operations.
• Implement AWS security best practices and IAM controls.
• Monitor infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance.
• Set up monitoring/observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Troubleshoot issues across AWS environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve reliability.
